Space to be Still

What:

A space to land and be present alongside others in mindfulness practice. No knowledge necessary - this is a simple process with Alex guiding a meditation for you to follow (or not) as you like... clock in, out, sleep, scream into the void - whatever you need :)

 

How:

The spine of the meditation remains similar each week with small adjustments relative to the session. The idea behind this is to offer a standardised(ish) space for you to check-in and notice where/how your attention is being directed over time. Cameras are optional and mics are on mute until the end of the practice. There is usually 5-10mins of space for anyone to share how they are/what they are noticing at the end - there's no obligation to speak.

Why:

Slow down, ground yourself, find some peace, exercise patience, relate better with anxiety, reconnect with your body, develop concentration... it's fun...? (well, sometimes it's bloomin hard but you get the point!)

When:

2nd and 4th Thursdays from 20:00-20:45. While it is recommended you get some continuity in your practice, you are welcome to join as many or few as you like.

 

April: 10th, 24th

May: 8th, 22nd

June: 12th, 26th

 

Where:

Online via Google Meets (there are likely to be some in-person options sometime as well)

Exchange:

These sessions are run for free with a suggested donation of £10. If you're more resourced, then this is also welcome as your support enables us to offer other spaces to those with less financial means.
