"I found my time with Alex as my coach highly valuable. He is an excellent listener and created a space and time for thinking through topics thoughtfully, with him contributing insightful prompts and alternative ways to look at complex situations. I recommend him highly."
Dr Robert Goudie
Group Leader and MRC Investigator

Alongside his artistic endeavours, Alex works as mentor and coach to leaders in fields ranging from scientific research to professional service firms. He is passionate about helping people figure shit out through self-responsible, co-created reflective dialogue and play. His main focus is sensemaking in uncertainty through observation and experimentation at the boundary edge.
Clients can expect a warm dynamic of challenge, support and edge where conversations may range from strategic to creative and relational priorities. In his free time, Alex can be found playing competitive squash, restoring ancient field boundaries on Dartmoor or pondering the absurd in nature.
“I am interested in conversations beyond right and wrong. Of heartfelt discovery and non-directive emergence where authenticity is cherished, encouraged and emboldened. These conversations take us to the edge and require our creativity, conviction and courage.”
