Clothes Swap

8pm Wednesday 24th March 2010

To book a place contact: Helen 01225 891915 or Kirstie 01225 891567

It's fun, it's frugal and it's eco-friendly, plus a great chance to refresh your wardrobe!

Bring along up to 4 items of clothing, to include bags, belts, scarves, shoes & boots, that someone else would be delighted to own.

Cost: £2.50 per person to cover the cost of wine & nibbles.

If you would like to come along, then please let us have your items for swapping at least 4 days before the event (see us at school or pop them round to 92 High St when you can).

They don't have to be expensive designer clothes but it is really important that they are a reasonable quality, clean and in good condition. It is also really important that the swapper is completely willing to part with the clothes as once they have been entered into the swap, there's no going back!
At the end of the evening, you can either take home any of your original clothes that are still there or leave them with us and we will take them to a charity shop.

Sustainable Thornbury's EcoFair

All day Saturday 22nd May 2010.

Visit our stall and talk/demonstration at Sustainable Thornbury's EcoFair in the historic community-owned Chantry. Open to all, the Fair will be a fun way to find out about eco-living and the positive choices we can all make towards enjoying a low carbon future. There will be putting on workshops and interactive events for both children and adults, indoors and outdoors, including a performance space for talks, music, demonstrations and stories which will go on throughout the day. These will be supported by trade stalls and information exhibitions. www.sustainablethornbury.org
